-Dance force is not liable for personal injury, loss or damage of any personal property. Every student is responsible to inform their teacher and front desk of any injury or limitations they may have that may prevent them from participating fully in class. Our student’s health and safety is our priority.

-Proper attire/shoes must be worn to class.  Hair must also be pulled away from your face.
-Absolutely NO gum.   No food or drinks allowed in the dance room!
-There is NO SMOKING in or around the dance studio.
-No Cell Phones.  All cell phones must be turned off during class.


*ATTENDANCE POLICY*
Please arrive dressed and ready to start class on time. If you are unable to attend class due to illness, schedule conflict, etc., please call to cancel your attendance. ADDITIONALLY, there may be times where your instructor needs to cancel your class due to illness or schedule conflict. Makeup classes will be offered when possible, but this is NOT a GUARANTEE.
Tuition is not prorated based on cancellations.

Ballet (competitive)- Black Leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes, hair in bun

PRE-SCHOOL & KINDERDANCE - Any color Leotard, tights/ and or proper dance shorts/pants/skirts,

Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Contemporary/Modern, Irish, Musical Theater- any color Leotard, tights/and or proper dance shorts/pants

HIP HOP- Comfortable, appropriate clothes to dance in- NO JEANS!  Clean sneakers/or dance shoes.

ADULT Hip-hop and African Caribbean- Comfortable clothes to dance in- Appropriate dance shoes for classes

BOYS -  Comfortable clothes to dance in-  Black Ballet shoes, Black Tap shoes, Tan jazz boots

**ALL dancers must have their hair pulled back away from face!
**No Jewelry
**All dancers must have appropriate shoes for class.  No socks allowed.
**Dance Attire and Dance shoes can be ordered through DANCE FORCE STUDIO.


COSTUME DEPOSIT
A $30.00 Costume fee is due by October 21st.  The Remaining fee will be due by November 21st.
We order all costumes in December so we know they will be shipped in time for our JUNE Recital.  Please be aware that costume fees are non-refundable.  Once your child's costume is ordered, you are responsible for the bill. This includes if your child discontinues dance after costumes have been ordered as we are unable to cancel costumes with the costume companies.


TUITION
Tuition fees are due Monthly.  Fees paid after the 10th of the month will be charged a $10.00 late fee. 
Any returned checks will result in a $30.00 bank Fee.

COMPETITION TEAMS
 Competitive Teams/classes and/or Special Groups are by AUDITION only~ 
Dance Force Competitive Team attend at least 2 dance competitions a year!!   

-All competitive team members must take BALLET plus 2 core classes.  Also All Sr. and Elite Team Members are required to take our technique class as well!!  -There are additional costs for costumes, entry fees and classes.  Students learn the value of discipline, hard work, competition and public performance.  Win or lose all our students are winners no matter the outcome of competition!

We will be having Fund-Raising Projects. All money raised will be distributed to participating students to help with competition expenses.  

-Private, semi-private, and trio classes are available to students upon request.  You must schedule a time slot for these classes when you register for classes.  Limited time slots are available. Special small groups will be by invitation only.

RECITAL 2012
Our 2012 Recital will be Friday MAY 25th at the Clemens Center!!! (time TBA)
The recital each year gives our students the opportunity to showcase their talents & dedication to family and friends.  This is our largest event of the dance season and creates a lasting memory for all in attendance.  
Our Recital will be professionally video-taped this year by TIME STAMP Video. 


CANCELLATIONS
PLEASE check Dance Force's WebSite for any Cancellations due to weather and on our website.  
Make-Up lessons will be posted as necessary.  


PLACEMENT & LEVELS OF STUDENTS
Students are placed in appropriate classes according to age and experience and skill level. Dance classes are not always the same as grade levels in school. There is an end of the year evaluation taken and issued for the benefit of each student; this is based on the expertise of our faculty. The dancers best interest is always in mind, a student may not always move to the next level or stay at the same level each year.
